The London Branches of the Associations
Despite the distance from Bury, a warm Lancashire welcome was given to all Old Boys and Girls attending their respective London Reunions.
The London Old Girls held their annual reunion lunch on 8th May at the Hughes Parry Hall in Cartwright Gardens. As always, the Headmistress provided a taste from home, Lancashire Cheese, especially bought for the occasion from Burys ‘World Famous' Market. The event was a great success and we were especially pleased to see five of our youngest Old Girls at the meeting. They are all studying in London and took time out of their busy exam schedule to join us.
The London Old Boys held their sophisticated affair on 12th May in the Members' Private Dining Room at the Guildhall. 22 Boys attended the dinner this year representing 6 decades of BGS. A jolly good time had by all.
