RNLI - Margaret Mary Timpany

On Saturday 12^th June, Louise Alford represented Bury Grammar School at the opening of the new RNLI Hovercraft Station in Morecombe to witness the Naming Ceremony and launching of the Margaret Mary Timpany D-Class Lifeboat. The late Dr. Timpany (BGS 1936), generously remembered a number of charities in her Will including our school.  Margaret's kind bequest will support two pupils who are joining us in September.
