Greater Manchester Murders by Alan Hayhurst

Alan Hayhurst tells us that his latest book, "Greater Manchester Murders" is now in the shops.
His books are published by The History Press in their "True Crime History" series and copies may be available in Bury Public Library and branches of Waterstones, W.H. Smith etc.

The new book deals with murders between 1862 and 1962, all in the Greater Manchester area and includes "A Multiple Tragedy", the dreadful murder of four young children by a distraught and penniless father, "Hello Tish", the story of a murderer who patronised executioner Albert Pierrepoint's pub and "The Shattered Bottles Murder", how several thousand splinters of glass were reassembled to catch a killer.
