Boys' Parents Association
The Parents' Association is a network of committed individuals who meet regularly to promote activities which help to enhance the facilities and educational environment within the school. It fosters positive relations and a spirit of friendship among the parents, the staff and the School. As a result, many terrific fundraising events have taken place which have financed improvements to the School's facilities. Both the Senior and the Junior School have benefited substantially from the proceeds of the last couple of Summer Fun Days which raised over 4,000 pounds on each occasion. These events demonstrate the amazing effort between parents, staff and the wider School community. Now the Senior School hall has brand new curtains and flooring and the Junior School, a newly refurbished library. In addition to these purchases, other contributions to the School by the Boys Parents' Association include: computers, memory cards, microscopes, encyclopedias, music stand covers, Reading Scheme prizes, speakers, water coolers, pool table, and rugby sport kits.
If you feel you can help the Association by engaging in activities that support the School please come along to one of our meetings or social events such as the Murder Mystery evenings or Race Night. We are always looking for new faces and talents to join our friendly group and all will be most welcome. Our monthly meetings are informal and held in the Junior School Staff Room and last about an hour with the exception of the Annual General Meeting which is more formal in tone and held in the Junior School Hall.
As well as fundraising, members of the Association meet socially and various dinners are planned throughout the year particularly at the end of term Founders' Day and Christmas. We look foward to meeting you soon.
