BGS Old Girls Association

 Sanctas clavis fores aperit
(The key opens holy doors)

Here in our school there is a sacred key:
This shall we find, who seek it faithfully.

Here may we tread the sacred path of truth:
Here may we know the comradeship of youth:

Here find a faith by which spirit soars:
Here turn the key that opens holy doors.

Sanctas clavis fores aperit.

The aim of the Old Girls Association is to keep people in touch with the school and other members. Membership is open to all leavers whether at GCSE or A-Level. We hold an annual Luncheon in October with tours of the school and a Dinner at an outside venue (incorporating the AGM) in May.

As members you receive an annual magazine with news of school and old girls, invitations to OGA events plus access to the schools facilities.

How to join

To become a member, simply complete the OGA Application Form and send it, together with your payment, to the membership secretary, Michelle Bradshaw, at the Development Office, Farraday House, Bridge Road, Bury, BL9 0HG.
